This RPPC shows the Torii at Kehi Jingū Shrine, a 7th-century shrine in Tsuruga, Japan. The shrine was mostly destroyed in the 1945 Bombing of Tsuruga, but the Torii gate shown in the photo survived the bombing.
This postcard contains pre-WWII Japanese language format, read from right to left. The front text says "Famous Sight of Tsuruga, Grand Torii Gate of Kehi Jingū", and the back says "Postcard".
