This photo of the RMS Nieuw Amsterdam, part of the Holland-America Line, shows the crew posing with World War 1 soldiers and nurses. The typical passengers aboard this ship were Dutch immigrants to the Americas and cargo for the Netherlands, but this WWI-era photo shows the ship's involvement in the war. This photo could have been taken following the Spanish influenza pandemic.
Condition: Good with some creasing and bending due to age. Mark on back from previous mount.
Published by Holland America Line.
