RPPC - Early 1900s Christmas Tree - Decorated With Tinsel and Popcorn Garlands, Masks, Toys and More - Children Opening Gifts under Tree - Vintage Photo Postcard

This postcard tells such a wonderful story. There are store-bought tinsel garlands hanging with homemade popcorn garlands. A scary Clown mask and a Santa Claus mask, a small doll, a tiny stuffed animal, and a fancy crucifix all share space on the tree. It is obvious someone loved putting favorite things on the tree. The little boy is holding a new toy pop gun, and the little girl has a doll stroller with a little porcelain head doll and on the floor in a box is a new china tea set. The children are very well-dressed and happy. The boy is very clear but the little girl moved a little as the picture was taken, and is a little blurry. All in all, it is a wonderful peek back in time. A great RPPC to collect. The left side of the card has a small bend, but it does not impact the photo and is not cracking the paper.
