Fancy and Fashionable Victorian Children Cabinet Card - 1890 Michigan Photography

This photograph of two young siblings exemplifies late Victorian styles and fashion near the turn of the 20th century. The young boy has a dapper sailor-style jacket with a matching kerchief around the neck and a dainty pocket square. His mom likely tucked it in his front pocket as she smoothed out his wrinkled sleeves! The girl wears a low-waisted and pleated dress with lace collar detail; the straight lines of the dress are very modern for the time! This was taken in 1890 in Paw Paw, Michigan. 

Condition: mild scratches and wrinkles on photo, discoloration from age, and pinhole in top.
