This booklet was written in the early 20th century to explain the rules of soccer to players and coaches alike. The term "soccer' started being used in the late 19th century to differentiate association football (what we now know as soccer) from other football games such as rugby football or gridiron/American football. In 1945, the United States Football Association changed their name to the United States Soccer Association with the rising popularity in American/gridiron football. It is in okay condition. It is missing its cover and the front and back pages are very delicate. There are also signs of aging and discoloration.
