Back Information: Put-In-Bay, Ohio, scene of Commodore Perry's victory of Sept. 10, 1813. A beautiful monument rising 352 feet in the air has been erected on this site. The Inter-Lake Regatta is held here annually. Small-mouthed bass and other fish are in abundance around its rocky shores. Has an excellent bathing beach and hotels, and various amusements. Reached by auto and passenger ferry from Sandusky, Port Clinton, and Catawba Island Peninsula, and by plane from the mainland.
