This Rhythmic Sketches for Kindergarteners and Primary Grades was made by Ruth Cawthorne Vesper. On the cover, there is a stamp that reads "Cleveland Public Schools - 1935". The front of the book has outlines of girls and boys dancing, playing and using musical instruments. Some of the pages are off of the bind, but it shows the books authenticity and age. The second page of the book prints Copyright 1929 by Ruth Cawthorne Vesper First Edition 1929. The book was dedicated to her husband for "his help and inspiration in the preparation of this book." Under the table of contents, the book reads that the cover was designed by Esther B. Carmichael. There is a key for rhythm band score shortly before the music notes start. Songs that are featured in the book include "The Jolly Skipper", "Boy Scouts March", and "Lullaby". Some of the pages have pencil writing written on them. This would be a perfect gift for an Elementary School Music director, or Kindergarten teacher who loves the lyrics meant for children.
