Victorian Era Tin Type Small Child in Victorian Clothes

Hand tinted tintype photo of child of about 4 years of age in the late 1800s. By tinting the cheeks and hands with pink, the photo becomes more lifelike.  Parents photographed children often to have memory of them as so many died young of childhood diseases.

The child is dressed very much like a child of today, with contrasting patterns and dress with leggings. This could be a great addition to a collection involving children and clothing in the late 1800s.
