Two Double Sided Horse Prints - Currier & Ives - Set Sold as Frame-able Art Prints - Horse lovers Art Prints - quality paper

The first print : "'Trotting Cracks' at the Forge", second side: "'Trotting Cracks' on the Snow". The second 2-sided print has "Stella and Alice Grey Lantern" on side one and "'Trotting Cracks' at Home" on side two. "Speeding on the Avenue" second side: "Central Park, the Drive." They are from Currier and Ives' America by Crown Publishers, inc.: New York (1952).

Currier and Ives prints are made through lithography, an art form established in 1796. Lithography comes from the Greek words lithos (stone) and grapho (write). The company was founded by Nathaniel Currier who was later joined by James Merritt Ives.

These prints are in great condition, with no foxing. Each print is two sided and has text or the a second print on the other side, please see photos. The purchaser can choose the prints they would like to frame.
