Back: THE FRANCISCAN MONASTERY, mecca of thousands each year, is situated at 14th and Quincy Streets, N. E. The monastery stands on a 44-acre tract of beautiful woodland. On the slope of the hill below the cloister is the cemetery, dominated by a large white cross of marble. Here lies the body of Friar Godfrey Schilling, founder of the monastery.
