Skiing in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains Near Santa Fe, New Mexico - 1940s Linen Postcard
Back: "Most winter sport enthusiasts are surprised to learn that there is good skiing in sunny New Mexico. The high peaks of the Sangre de Cristo Range afford good practice runs of varying degrees; while open slopes, far-reaching views, marvelous sunshine and dry air all help to make this region ideal for winter sports. Good skiing is available at the end of a few minutes' drive from Fred Harvey's La Fonda Hotel in Santa Fe. The higher country, rapidly being developed, affords an excellent terrain for cross-country skiing. Skiing is fast becoming popular at other points in New Mexico and Arizona."
Condition: Good condition. There is some minor discoloration and corners are a little soft.
