Just across this interesting waterway is South Sioux City, Nebraska, and Sioux City, Iowa. Bridge opened to the public in January 1896. In 1959 it was modernized. The north span was removed and the bridge was lighted and four-laned for traffic. View was taken from Prospect Hill."
