The Hotel Carney Virginia City, Nevada "On the Bonanza Highway - Founded int he early 60s, Present structure rebuilt after the destructive fire that destroyed the town in 1875. Still in Use are the Original Furnishings, as well as the First elevator west of the Rockies. Many of the famous miners of the Comstock Era, made their homes here. The location is just across the street form the Famed Piper Opera House, that must have led to many a Glamourous Hour int his Hostelery.
