On back: Horseshoe Falls is a giant cascade extending for nearly a mile on the Roaring River, which brings the snow waters of the Mummy Range down to Horseshoe Park. The icy waters plunge down a tremendous slope, dashing over boulders, dividing and surging together with a tremendous roar which makes the title of the river very appropriate.
