This vintage Valentine card was made by the Beistle Company which originated in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1900. The card shows two Cupid-looking children: a young suitor who is calling to a fair maiden in a castle. The card reads, “Will you promise you’ll always be a real sweet Valentine only to me?” This part of the card then folds out and hooks to a small slot to form a red honeycomb design. The card also has a working stand as pictured. The card is made from a heavy paper, like other Valentine’s from this time period. The card is in excellent condition with just one slight bend on the left spire of the castle.
Dimensions: 5 inches wide by 6.5 inches tall.
