This photo shows a family of four brothers in the Tallman family, who are identified on the back as Easton, Aaron, Henry, and John, with birth years ranging between 1824 to 1850.

The photo was taken on December 20, 1894 at Frank P. Ford's photography studio in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and the photo was printed just slightly larger than the card backing allows, slightly covering the photographer's mark.
