This unique photo showcases a beautiful scene where four Native American youngsters and a little Blond toddler are sharing a moment to sit on a fallen tree for a photograph. These wonderfully natural kids were probably  Michigan born. This RPPC was found in a farm estate sale in mid Michigan.  Michigan, unfortunately, has a very checkered past when it comes to native Americans. Harbor Springs, in Northern Michigan was home to a notorious Indian School connected to the Catholic Church.  This was a part of shameful period in Michigan, while Michigan in general, has the reputation of working with tribes owning land and interspersing this ownership with privately owned settler farms. This coexistence saved thousand of tribal members from being included in the Trail of Tears round up, and allowing for tribes to work out boundaries for the future.
