These lovely siblings are sitting in their finest formal wear for a photograph at L.P. Jones's photography studio in Elkhart, IN. The little lady wears a ruffled dress and starched collar with unique striped stockings, and the little boy sports a military-inspired suit popular in the decades following the U.S. Civil War. The ornate background and velvet-covered bench exude Victorian wealth.
