Look at this adorable Baby, at about 6 to 8 months old, in a long, brilliant white christening gown! He or she is posed for the photo by a carefully concealed arm, typically the child's mother, to position and support the baby while the camera works its magic. At that time, a picture could take several minutes to get the image, so patience was required. This little baby is decked out in frills and lace, with a long white christening gown blending into the draped sheet covering the mother and chair meant to support the baby. A close study of the child, features and hairline reveals it may be a little boy.
Height: 7 7/8"
Width: 5 7/8"
Condition: Wearing and foxing of the card mount, but the black-and-white photo is remarkably well preserved!
