This woman's coiffure is piled high and topped with a rose. She truly showcases Edwardian simple elegance with her soft Gibson Girl pompadour and bold brows contrasting her angelic white lace dress. 

This photo was copyrighted in the 1900s by the National Photograph Company, located in Chicago. The bottom left corner reads, in minuscule print, "Copyright 190 / National Photograph Company / Chicago 2561"

The back of the card features an advertisement for "Richards Palace Ball-Bearing House Door Hanger", a hardware mechanism used from the late 19th to early 20th century.
