Back Information: A fossil colonial coral, genus Hexagonaria Unweathered specimens collected from gravel pits in Emmet County. May be found along the shores of Michigan’s lower peninsula, as well as in glacial drift throughout lower Michigan. Used for making jewelry and ornaments.
