Back: OLD CATHEDRAL, ST. Augustine, Fla. Oldest Roman Catholic Church int he U.S. Built 1793-97. The disastrous fire of 1887 left little of this old building besides the walls. Restored in 1887 when tower was added. The altars are of fine Carrara marble. Located on the Plaza.
