Published by Geo. J. Moe "Sport Shop" in Ann Arbor, Michigan in 1924 and copyrighted in 1922, this guide was available in the sporting department in Herpolsheimer's Department store in Grand Rapids. It was originally intended to teach the collegiate rules of speedball to University of Michigan students. Speedball is a blend of soccer, basketball and hockey and was invented by the author in 1921. The game was created with the intention of creating a game without the traditional confines of a single sport as well as to include less athletic students. This book of rules explains not only how to play but also a brief history of the game. This booklet is in near perfect condition with slight discoloration from age and a few small marks on the back.
