Back: THE CONKLINGVILLE DAM is located 5 miles west of Hadley-Lucerne, N. Y. It was built to regulate the flow of the Hudson River impounded the waters of teh Sacandaga River, a tributary of the Hudson River. The Dam took four years to build, and cost eleven million two hundred eighty-three billion gallons, forming a lake twenty-nine miles in length. Length of dam, 1,200 feet - Elevation at top fo dam - 795 feet above sea level.
