Back: P.F. 9 - NATURAL BRIDGE PETRIFIED FOREST, ARIZONA. A petrified log, millions of years old, spanning an arroyo about 45 feet in width forming a natural bridge. The log is about 4 feet in diameter at the largest point, 111 feet long, and is used as a natural photographic setting by thousands of people yearly. the U. S. forest service has re-enforced the log with a concrete base to protect it form the elements.
