This linen postcard features a black and white photograph of a woman reaching for three different men who don't seem particularly interested in her. The front has a poem on it and below the last line of the poem the original sender wrote something in pencil, but after 100 years it is no longer clear.
"Oh, it would make my heart rejoice
If I could claim a certain man;
But if I may not have my choice,
I'll gladly take the one I can."
