Back: Located at Ellenton on U. S. Highway 41 a few miles east of Palmetto, this famous old structure was erected in the early 1840’s. Steeped in legend and tradition it now stands in its original glory as a historic reminder of the Civil War days. 
Mailed: Postmark in Nov. 1943 from Fla. with a green one cent stamp 
Condition: Great with some aging
