This is a very interesting piece! It is a set of four photos, two on each side, held together like they were pages in a photo album. Some of the binding can still be seen. One side features a two portraits of two different men, and the other side features a portrait of a man and a portrait of a woman. The names of the man and woman were written at the bottom of their photos but have faded beyond legibility. None of the individuals are smiling, as was common in most photos from this time period, as the subject had to sit still for quite some time while the photograph was being taken. These were likely taken in the 1860s or 1870s.
