This mid 19th-century family bible is in extraordinary condition for its age. The lambskin cover has typical wear on raised surfaces and corners and gold stamping on the binding. There are many full page engravings of scenes from the scripture. The gilded edges still shine and the pages are in excellent shape. There are a few stains throughout. This bible was in the possession of the Gray-Swinford family. There is a record of marriages, births, and deaths between old and new testaments.
