On back: THE DELAWARE RIVER Bridge is one of the world’s largest single-span suspension bridges. Its total length is 1.81 miles. The main span between the towers is 1,750 feet and is 135 feet over the water. The towers are 385 feet high and the width overall is 125 feet. The vehicular roadway is 57 feet wide, allowing six traffic lines with one two ten foot foot ways over trolley tracks.
