Back: Ancient Taproom of Connelly’s Robert on Ellicott Hill, built prior to 1795 when Spain ruled the Natchez territory. Here in early days, assembled all the adventurers and soldiers of fortune of the Natchez Country. Here in 1797, according to tradition, Aaron Burr and Blennerhassett held secret conclaves to plan a new empire of the Southwest. Floors of soft hand-made brick.
