This is a sweet Valentine card printed in Germany on a heavy quality card stock. It was designed by Chloe Preston, who was a British Author-Illustrator born in 1887. The card shows a boy with a button nose, which is a dead giveaway to Preston’s style from the 1920’s-30’s. The basket of flowers the boy is carrying folds over to reveal a poof honeycomb. The bottom of the card reads, “I’ve been shopping for you, my Valentine.” The card also has a working stand as pictured. It is in excellent condition with a very slight bend in the boy’s hat.
Dimensions: 5.5 inches wide and 7 inches tall.
