Catalina Island, California - Vintage Postcard

This vintage postcard of Catalina Islands, California was published by Western Publishing & Novelty Co. in the 1930's. The front of the postcard features a lovely picture of a hotel and its sight seeing buses filled with tourists on Catalina Island. In the background of the photo you can see a hotel with a red roof, in the 30's there was one hotel with a red roof, which was known as St. Catherine Hotel. This hotel was internationally known in its hay day but was unfortunately decommissioned then torn down in the 60's. The back of the postcard is marked Theo Sohmer, Los Angeles. It is unused.
This postcard is in excellent condition, there are no creases, tears, or fading present. The back of the card has a few very small stains but the front is pristine. It measures 5 1/2" length by 3 1/2" width.
