On back: CAPTAIN CLARK AT POMPEYS PILLAR by J. K. Ralston | On their return of the Lewis & Clark Expedition, Capt. Wm. Clark, with 11 men, Sacajawea and her 19 months old son stopped here. July 25, 1806, Clark named it “Pompey’s Tower” in honor of Sacajawea’s son. Historians changed the name but Clark’s signature remains today… the only physical evidence of the expedition. Located 28 Mi. E. Billings, Montana - Interstate 94. Open June 1st to Sept. 1st.
