On front: Aeroplane View of the Bear Mt. Hudson River Bridge, N. Y. View Looking West
On back: The Peekskill Bear Mountain Bridge Road is the Eastern approach to the bridge. Is it a newly constructed road, blasted out of the lofty sides of Antony’s Nose and Manito Mountains, and commanding the most picturesque views of the Hudson River. Its greatest elevation is more than 400 feet above the river. The Bear Mountain Hudson River Bridge is the longest single-span Bridge in the world. Its central span is 1,632 feet in length. The total length of the bridge is 2,252 feet, and its clear height above the river is 155 feet. It is the only bridge for vehicles across the Hudson River south of Albany and forms the much-desired connecting link for the state roads on each side of the river.
