Back Information: This picturesque covered bridge was built in Washington County, Pennsylvania in 1832. For many years it spanned Wheeling Creek between West Finley Township, Washington County, and Richhill Township, Greene County, near the birthplace of William Holmes McGuffey, author of world-famous McGuffey Eclectic Readers.
