Back: THE FIRST DIVISION MOMENT, a beautiful white granite shaft surmounted with a gold statue of Victory, by Daniel Chester French, was erected to commemorate the heroic deeds of the First Division, A.E.F., in the World War. It was erected by the Memorial Association of the First Division and its friends. The building in the background is the War and State Department.
