Daboll's Schoolmaster's Assistant written in 1841 - Plain Practical System of Arithmetick by Nathan Daboll with Farmer's and Mechanick's Best Method of Book-Keeping by Samuel Green

In 1841, Nathan Daboll's "Schoolmaster's Assistant" was published with an added section on bookkeeping, titled "Farmer's and Mechanick's Best Method of Book-Keeping" by Samuel Green. This edition, "Improved and Enlarged," provided a practical system of arithmetic adapted to the United States, along with practical methods for accounting. Essentially, this 1841 publication was a combination of a foundational arithmetic textbook and a practical guide to accounting, making it a valuable resource for individuals in various trades and occupations during that period. 

This copy is in good condition given it is 185 years old. There is writing in pen on the cover as well as pencil writing on the inside; this can be seen in the photos. Minor worming is on the outside and inside cover, and the corners are bent while showing some wear. The leather cover shows rough spots, and the inside page corners are bent/folded to varying degrees. A few pages throughout have tears and all pages have some discoloration.
