On back: The Elephant's Head. . . This striking formation resulted from the seepage of water along an impervious layer of limestone in the wall. It owes its clean pastel shades to the fact that, like most formations in the cave, it is growing. The Marengo Cave, Indiana Highway 64, Marengo, Indiana. With written letter from sender.
Mailed: Postmark on Oct 10, 1968 from Borden, Indiana with a blue five cent George Washington stamp
