Back: The magnificent White Stone Temple of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Free Masonry at Sixteenth and S. Sts, N. W., was built at a cost of $1,250,000.00 and is the most beautiful Masonic Temple int he world. The main floor contains 33 rooms, symbolic of the 33 States which compose the Southern jurisdiction of the floor. The third floor is devoted to the Cathedral, 75 ft. square, which, with its interior decorations, is one of the most beautiful chambers in the world.
