RPPC Postcard - Vintage Men's style wearing paper removable collar
Front: A photo of a young man in about 1895 to 1905 wearing the disposable starched Paper Collar. This collar allowed women to iron shirts at home or the dry cleaners to run through quickly. The shirt was collarless, the colllars were sold in boxes of up to 16. On hot days a business man may have to change his shirt 3 or 4 times. The collar could move to the clean shirt until was too solied to use.
