RPPC - Eugene Hotel - Eugene, Oregon - Vintage Hotel Postcard

Eugene Hotel - Eugene - Ore. Opened in 1924, as "our hotel" as 10 people of Eugene donated to start construction. Was headed by Bird Rose a local who felt people coming to Eugene to see a football game needed a nice hotel to stay the night. It was Americanized-Spanish style. It was a very popular spot for 60 years for U of Oregon fans to stay. In 1983 it was renovated as apartments and today is on the National Registry for Historic Places.
