Elderly Dutch Grandparents On Steps, 1920s West Michigan Farmers from Netherlands - Real Photo

This vintage sepia-toned photo features an older couple in traditional Dutch Sunday Outfits. This photo, with light snow on the ground, may have been taken on Thanksgiving, when someone wanted to capture the Grandparents in traditional clothing. It is likely, that this couple originally arrived as immigrants from the Netherlands, and now, in the early 19th century, they are seeing the fruits of their labor. Now when portable photography was available to capture daily life across the country, they stepped out onto their porch to leave an image for history. The back of the page is marked with a faint "81" at the lower left corner.  

Condition: Crease over the lower left corner, folding on the top left and bottom right corners.
