This young man caught a bass with his grandfather in the 1940s, and someone captured it in a photo along with a Coca-Cola ad and a car grille emblematic of time time. The car is not fully visible, but the classic grille is reminiscent of 1940s American-made coupes with tall, narrow chrome bars across the front.
The back identifies this as a photo of Jack at Big Star Lake in Baldwin, MI.
