A little girl named Pearl Harriet Van Nest, according to the handwritten note on the back of the cabinet card. The background is Pastoral with live bunnies and a wagon to bring realism into the photo. Some searching reveals Pearl was born in Cleveland in 1888; this picture was taken when Pearl was a toddler in the early 1890s. Unfortunately, Pearl passed away at the age of 30, leaving 3 daughters with her husband Lloyd Sidle, also mentioned on the back of the card. Pearl's legacy lives on in this precious photo, a reminder to treasure the joyful and little things in life!
